Dear Parents and Students,

We have established Suvarnabhumi Vidhyalaya with the aim of providing a quality education to our students for their holistic development. Our team comprises of highly experienced, qualified and leading academic professionals who keenly ensure that the students get the best. Suvarnabhumi Vidhyalaya, being a Lower Secondary School, students who pass from here have been capable enough to face the challenges and test required to get admission in best schools of the country.

To add more, many of us knew that Nepal lies in such location which is high in seismic risk. This is not a fact known after the devastating disaster of May 25, 2015. I am also proud to say that, we the school family had taken prior precautions for the earthquake safety. We are located approximately 1 km outside ring road, with ample space, clean and green environment and our classrooms are setup in shades with no concrete slab roof. We also spend our time three to four times a year in training our students in taking earthquake preventive measures.

There were times when we were criticised about our location and the classroom setup. For this we even lost many students, as the parents wanted very tall, big, fancy school buildings for their child. Now, the applaud we have been receiving for our setup and location is incredible. Better late than never, gradually people have started to understand why we always advocated for earthquake safe setting. We should understand that disasters such as earthquakes are inevitable, they will occur as it is an important component of environment. We can’t in no means stop it but in all ways can definitely minimise its threats and damages by taking prevention.
